California Privacy Notice

This notice is for California residents. It adds to our Privacy Policy. It says what California law asks of Casa De Oro Resortwear LLC ("Casa de Oro", "we", "us") today, and how we meet it.
1. What we collect, and who receives it

2. Advertising partners and your choice
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We work with advertising partners: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google (including YouTube). Their tools run on our checkout pages, which Shopify runs for us. They can collect information about your activity over time and across different websites when you use ours. Shopify also uses your information for its own purposes, advertising among them; you can tell Shopify not to at privacy.shopify.com. Section 4 of the Privacy Policy says more.
You can say no:
- Use "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in our site's footer, or in the menu on your phone. It is your "no" to advertising partners for your browser, at once.
- Choose "Only necessary" in the privacy bar. "Your Privacy Choices" then shows your choice with its switch; to change it at any time, set the switch and choose "Save".
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor it: it counts as your "no" for that browser until you say yes on our site, and our bar shows "Browser privacy on".
The checkout pages are Shopify's, so there your choice works through Shopify. We pass your choice to Shopify with your bag. Shopify's rule is that advertising tools set up as a sale of data do not run for a shopper who said no, unless the tool has a limited-data mode, which sends less. Shopify also sends information from its own servers. Shopify says those sends are "subject to" the store's privacy settings and "might be restricted". It does not say that your "no" stops them.
3. "Do Not Track"
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for it, so our site does not respond to it. We honor Global Privacy Control instead.
4. The California Consumer Privacy Act
That law applies to businesses above size limits the law sets. Casa de Oro is below them today. So the requests that law creates, to see, delete or correct personal information, do not apply to us today. If that changes, we will update this notice.
5. Requests we answer
- Not to sell your information: email privacy@shopcasadeoro.com from the email address your request is about. We answer within 60 days. If we need up to 30 more days, we tell you.
- To stop our emails or texts: use the unsubscribe link, reply STOP, or email privacy@shopcasadeoro.com. We stop within 10 business days.
6. Changes and contact
When we change this notice, we post the new version here and update the date at the top.
